Privacy policy
4 October 2026. This policy is for the partner site only. Customer privacy and driver privacy are separate pages.
1. Who we are
Express Car Recovery runs the partner programme at partners.expresscarrecovery.co.uk. For privacy questions, email contact@expresscarrecovery.co.uk.
2. What we collect
When you apply or we approve you, we keep the business name, street, town, postcode, phone number, email address, your partner code, and whether the account is active. If you enter a Companies House number, we keep that too. We do not ask for a UTR.
When a customer starts an order from your link or QR, we keep that the order belongs to your code, whether it came from the link or the QR, the order status, and the £5 result for that order. We do not show you other partners’ orders.
We do not ask you to type a card number on this site. For the monthly payout, Stripe collects the bank account. Express Car Recovery stores the Stripe reference, not the account number and not the sort code.
3. Why we use it
We use this information to decide your application, to run the partner account, to attribute orders, to calculate the monthly £5 total, and to pay you. The reason is the partner contract. We do not sell the information and we do not use it for advertising cookies.
4. Cookies
The public pages do not set a tracking cookie. After you sign in, a session cookie keeps the account open. That cookie is needed for the login. We do not use Google Analytics or advertising pixels on this site, so there is no cookie banner.
5. Who else receives it
Stripe receives what it needs to pay your business, on Stripe’s own pages. A hosting company stores the site and the database so the pages can run. We do not pass the partner list to other garages or dealers.
6. How long we keep it
We keep the account and the order totals for as long as the account is open and for as long as we need them for the payments and for our records. You can ask us to close the account. Payment records are kept for the period we must keep business records.
7. Your choices
You can ask what we hold, ask for a correction, or ask us to close the partner account. Email contact@expresscarrecovery.co.uk. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office if you think the use of your information is wrong.
